Swedish Massage

The Swedish massage is a classic modality used to promote relaxation and improve circulation.  It uses a combination of long, flowing strokes and gentle kneading to ease tension, reduce stress and enhance overall wellbeing.  It is perfect for anyone looking for deep relaxation and rest. 

Pressure Level: Light to Medium. 

Pricing: 60Min $80 / 75Min $100

Therapeutic / Medical Massage

Experience the power of effective techniques and modalities combined to help resolve tightness, long standing pain patterns and connective tissue/joint discomfort.    This massage may include neuromuscular massage, miofascial release, pin and stretch, trigger point, passive joint mobilization, orthopedic assessment, stretching and others, as well as the use hot stones, cupping, gua sha and other tools to achieve the best outcome. While technical by design the Therapeutic Massage is still deeply relaxing.

Pressure Level: Medium to Deep.

Pricing: 60 Min $100 / 75 Min $125 / 90 Min $150.

Deep Tissue Massage

The deep tissue massage, also known as neuromuscular massage, is designed to relieve chronic muscle tension and improve mobility using safe techniques to target problem areas and help you achieve optimal wellness.  Deep Tissue should not be painful, just deep!  No elbows, no bruises, no nonsense, just great technique.  

Pressure Level: Deep. 

Pricing: 60Min $110 / 75Min $135 / 90Min $160.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmic therapy used to stimulate the body's lymphatic system.  Using light, precise movements, it helps reduce swelling, support detoxification, improve circulation and enhance immune function.  This treatment is especially beneficial after surgery, during times of inflammation or when experiencing fluid retention, leaving you feeling lighter, less congested and deeply relaxed.  Please read the blog articles to better understand MLD.

Pressure Level: Light and superficial.

  • 90 Minute Face-Head and Body Session $155

Foot Reflexology

Based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems in the body, reflexology can help to relieve stress, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness.  This massage has proved very helpful in the management of post cancer treatment neuropathy for many clients. 

Pressure Level: Medium to Deep.

Pricing: 30Min $40

Prenatal Massage

This nurturing massage therapy is designed specifically for expecting mothers, utilizing safe positioning and techniques tailored to each stage of pregnancy. It helps relieve back and hip pain, reduce swelling, ease muscle tension, and promote relaxation. A combination of Swedish Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is used to achieve a gentle and nurturing treatment.

Pressure Level: Light to Medium. 

Pricing: 60Min $90 / 75Min $110.

Assisted Stretching

Because sometimes we just need a good stretch! Performed with up-to-date techniques this session will help increase joint range of motion, resulting in better movement and flexibility. The client is an active participant in the session ensuring all is performed to a comfortable degree of stretch.

Pricing: 30 Min $45

Gift Cards & Loyalty Program

Gift cards are available and can be delivered via email or in a beautiful cardstock form. They can be purchased online, the Book Online button will direct you to site where they can be purchased, they can also be purchased in the office or by phone.  Cardstock Gift Card can be mailed on your behalf at no additional cost.  Transaction must be completed by phone for this option.

The Approach

At Advanced Bodyworks, the foundation of every session is knowledge, technique, and compassion.  From the most relaxing, float-in-heaven massage to more complex treatments like Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage targeting aches, pains, and dysfunction, every session is performed with care. I assess while I treat and share observations and recommendations providing clients with valuable knowledge for their wellness journey.

The Practitioner

Hello, I am Rebecca A. Gonzalez, and Advanced Bodyworks is part of a journey with a purpose: to help you feel your best. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) with the state of New Jersey, as well as a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After decades of 24/7 pain and dysfunction, and tens of thousands of dollars spent, I took control of my healing journey and fell in love with anatomy and the mechanics of the body. I decided that my pain would not be in vain.  Having experienced all the pains and painstakingly resolved their many layers, gives me a unique understanding of how to tackle it.  I invite you to my beautiful Boutique Studio for an effective and relaxing massage.
