Therapeutic / Medical Massage

From profoundly relaxing to highly technical and targeted, a session tailored to you.  Experience the power of proven techniques and modalities combined to help resolve tension, tightness, long standing pain patterns and connective tissue/joint discomfort.  The massage tempo and pressure can be customized to provide everything from a relaxing and nurturing massage performed to achieve deep relaxation, to a more intense, highly technical and focused massage.  When pain resolution is the goal the massage may include neuromuscular massage, myofascial release, pin and stretch, trigger point, passive joint mobilization, stretching and others, as well as the use hot stones, cupping, gua sha and other tools to achieve the best outcome. 

Pressure Level: Medium to Deep.

Pricing: 60 Min $100 / 75 Min $125 / 90 Min $150.

Myofascial Release Therapy

A technique designed to relieve tension on the fascia using slow, sustained pressure to help release restrictions, improve mobility, reduce pain and restore balance. Especially beneficial for chronic pain that does not respond well to traditional massage. This bodywork sessions are targeted and technical focusing on specific areas and can be very intense.  The most dramatic and lasting results are achieved with deep, targeted work and that is the type of application used at Advanced Bodyworks. 

Pressure level: Medium to Deep 

Pricing: 60 Min $150.

Deep Tissue Massage

The deep tissue massage, also known as neuromuscular massage, is designed to relieve chronic muscle tension and improve mobility using safe techniques to target problem areas and help you achieve optimal wellness.  Deep Tissue should not be painful, just deep!  No elbows, no bruises, no nonsense, just great technique.  

Pressure Level: Deep. 

Pricing: 60Min $110 / 75Min $135 / 90Min $160.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmic therapy used to stimulate the body's lymphatic system.  Using light, precise movements, it helps reduce swelling, support detoxification, improve circulation and enhance immune function.  This treatment is especially beneficial after surgery, during times of inflammation or when experiencing fluid retention, leaving you feeling lighter, less congested and deeply relaxed.  Please read the blog articles to better understand MLD.

Pressure Level: Light and superficial.

  • 60 Minute Body Session $110
  • 90 Minute Face-Head and Body Session $155
  • 30 Minute Face and Head Session $40
  • 90 Minute Therapeutic Massage and MLD Combo $160
  • 60 Minute Post Liposuction MLD: designed to promote smooth results and avoid fibrosis.  Individual sessions $ 120
  • MLD Multi-session Packages: purchase 4 60-minute MLD sessions 10% off or 8 60-minute sessions 15% Off.

Foot Reflexology

Based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems in the body, reflexology can help to relieve stress, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness.  This massage has proved very helpful in the management of post cancer treatment neuropathy for many clients. 

Pressure Level: Medium to Deep.

Pricing: 30Min $40

Assisted Stretching

Because sometimes we just need a good stretch! Performed with up-to-date techniques this session will help increase joint range of motion, resulting in better movement and flexibility. The client is an active participant in the session ensuring all is performed to a comfortable degree of stretch.

Pricing: 30 Min $50

Gift Cards & Loyalty Program

Gift cards are available and can be delivered via email or in a beautiful cardstock form. They can be purchased online, the Book Online button will direct you to site where they can be purchased, they can also be purchased in the office or by phone.  Cardstock Gift Card can be mailed on your behalf at no additional cost.  Transaction must be completed by phone for this option.

The Approach

At Advanced Bodyworks, the foundations of every session are knowledge, technique, and compassion.  From the most relaxing, float-in-heaven massage to more complex treatments like Medical Massage, targeting aches, pains, and dysfunction, every session is performed with care. I assess while I treat and share observations and recommendations providing clients with valuable knowledge for their wellness journey.

The Practitioner

Hello, I am Rebecca A. Gonzalez, and Advanced Bodyworks is part of a journey with a purpose: to help you feel your best. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) with the state of New Jersey, as well as a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After decades of 24/7 pain and dysfunction, and tens of thousands of dollars spent, I took control of my healing journey and fell in love with anatomy and the mechanics of the body. I decided that my pain would not be in vain.  Having experienced all the pains and successfully resolved their many layers, gives me a unique understanding of how to tackle them.  I invite you to my beautiful Boutique office for an effective and relaxing massage.
